Time went fast in this week's Basic Barista class at Whitsundays Neighbourhood Centre Cannonvale. Students made many styles of coffees and practised hard on their free pouring milk techniques. The first cappuccinos made were too bubbly but after more practise and guidance, the ultimate milk texturises were achieved. Creamy, silky milk texture on coffees happened and confidence lifted in the room. Well done girls!!
Alice was off to start her juice and coffee van business and another student Shayna, was heading to Melbourne to work in a cafe as a Barista whilst studying in University.
Alice initially said she did not like Espresso coffee but after trying her very own and achieving perfect extraction rates, awesome crema and amazing milk texturising techniques, we converted her over. MISSION ACHIEVED !
